Art highlights this Spring /Summer 2013...

Looking for Art events in Stamford Downtown?  Here's a quick list to keep on hand...

Art in Public Places- Downtown Abstractions
Around Stamford Downtown locations
Each year Stamford Downtown hosts a distinguished outdoor sculpture exhibit designed to attract both local and regional audiences. Art in Public Places features sculptures lining the sidewalks and parks of the Downtown as well as the Stamford Town Center. They will be on display around town starting early June to mid August.



Kiwanis Art - Art in our Park
 Saturday, May 25 - July noon - 4pm

Bring your family to one of Stamford's most active Art Parks. Your little ones can create hands-on art that they can take home! Parents can enjoy the art of local artists, displayed for your pleasure and purchase, at Kiwanis Park.

ARTWALK in Stamford Downtown:
Friday, June 14, 6-9pm
Saturday, June 15, 10am-7pm
Around Stamford Downtown; walk along to view the art.  Art work from professional artists will be displayed in stores and on a walking route of the Downtown. 
Over 25 participating stores and galleries.

DIFFERENT STROKES The UConn Stamford Art Gallery is pleased to announce it newest art exhibit entitled "Different Strokes". The show is available for viewing from May 13, 2013 to July 12, 2013 in the Art Gallery located in the heart of UConn's downtown campus. The Artists' Reception is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th from 2:30-4:30pm.Admission is FREE to the exhibit.

September 21 & 22, 2013

Arts & Crafts on Bedford is back for its ninth year in Stamford Downtown. Shop at our craft and artisan boutiques on Bedford Street, which will be closed to traffic for the weekend. Dine in our extended sidewalk cafes.
